Busan Kitchen is a home kitchen that is owned by Andrea "Andi" and their very own Busan, Korea native, Daniel Kim widely known as Mr. Kim. Before the pandemic, their Korean and Filipino friends frequented their home and enjoyed the hospitality of Andi and Daniel as well as their mutual passion for food and cooking. These gatherings, however, were no longer feasible due to the lockdown limitations, leaving Andi and Daniel's pals yearning for the delectable foods. They started sending their friends some of their home cooked meals and their friends urged them to start selling it.
Gradually, people began to ask them to cook more Korean dishes to be sent out to their homes. With an increasing number of such requests from an expanding circle of relatives and friends, they considered developing and establishing their own home kitchen which they thought would only last during the pandemic period or around 2 months, but they did not expect that it will turn out into a booming business.
In the Philippines, we have a lengthy list of popular Filipino foods that are typically made differently throughout our various provinces—each province making the recipes their own, infusing their culture and local resources to produce the greatest of local culinary treasures.The same is true in South Korea,where exquisite foods are made and taste differently depending on area. Busan Kitchen takes pride in preparing only traditional Busan-cooking processes and a full selection of authentic Korean ingredients for their chosen family kept heirloom recipes. Mr. Kim's family are restaurant business owners in Korea and they are known for their delectable passed down family recipes.
Busan Kitchen also has a Korea aunties "Ajumma" who's a veteran into Korean cuisine.They helps them in the kitchen and some items in the menu like the traditional Tteok & Gejang. The Banchan(sidedishes)are made all the way from Busan South Korea.The couple are frequent travelers in Korea to source for quality and authentic Korean ingredients and they visit their family's oldest kitchens and also the trending Korean food spots to master the Korean cuisine.Cleanliness and safety is their top priority being highlighted in over 5000 reviews that they have received from their consumers.They wish to surpass the service and quality that they provide as much as they can.They appreciate their clients and only accept/accommodate limited quantity of clients daily to maintain their quality control, and not to jeopardize the timeliness of the delivery of orders.They treat all their clients as VIP's no matter if its an small or a bulk order.
