Anko Jeolpyeon

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Anko Jeolpyeon is a Korean flat rice cake steamed and embellished with decorative patterns.

They are prepared with glutinous rice, and is infused with different ingredients such as red bean, almond, and mugwort. Before they are served, each cake is brushed with sesame oil, which prevents them from sticking and adds a subtle sesame flavor.

Anko Jeolpyeon are usually enjoyed as a sweet everyday treat, but they are also traditionally served at weddings and tea ceremonies.

These rice cakes can be cooked on a frying pan to enjoy them as crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside like Hotteok!
