Hong Jinmichae

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

An addictive snack or an accompaniment to drinks, as well as a side dish. Hong Jinmichae squid strips are characterized by their reddish hue between the fibers.

This is because the squid is seasoned whole without removing the skin and then dried. As a result, the squid's unique rich umami flavor and chewy texture are felt even more abundantly.

Serve it with some gochujang (Korean chili paste) and / or Korean mayonnaise as a dipping sauce – this method is also a popular way to serve at a drink bar in Korea. This is ready to eat or if you prefer it warm to make it more soft you only need few seconds to cook this dried squid.
